How many of you dread the book question the first day of school? "What did you read this summer?" Well, there is a reason for the question! Summer is the perfect time for reading and discovering new things. You do have TIME to read in the summer. If you did read some wonderful books I hope you'll share their titles and a sentence or two about why you liked them. Often, finding out what your friend's like to read is a good way to explore new titles.
I read a book called "Feed" by M.T. Anderson. It is an excellent science fiction story. It's a bit scary to think that computers, cell phones, ipods, etc. could all be "planted" in our head when we're young. It was very interesting! We do have it here at our library if you're interested in reading it.
So, tell us about a story you read, would like to read, or want to know more about! Post your comments here!

Finding Our Way Together!
Every library needs books, magazines, librarians, computers, great signs, directions, videos, copy machines, and the list could go on. But what do you need our library to do for you? As a new librarian I'd like to assist elementary students with their quest for information to meet their needs. That, after all is one of the most important functions of a library. So, with that in mind, I will be giving you important links, videos, tutorials, books reviews, and discussing all of them with you. You are the reason school libraries exist! So, let's get started!
